This is a quick painting I did for my former Teacher Petr Herel. Many of his former student’s from the Graphic Investigation department, Canberra school of Art, are getting together each contributing one page for an artist book. This is my page.

These works were part of my Graduate work when I finished Art school in 1996. They are all about 45 x 50 cm in size. I use an angel grinder and a demel drill and dry point to engrave the surface of mild steel plate. Then use a mono printing method of inking up the plates. I had recently come back from studying at The Prague Academy of Fine Art, and I think these works were partly inspired by my experiences there.
